General Information
The Ministry of the Covid displaced was established in december 2021. The Ministry endeavours to achieve the objectives of the UEC policy and to protect the best provincial interests inside UEC and abroad and the World Covid Displaced; relying on the sophisticated and rigorous transparent approach, which commits to directives and legislation by means of collective action.
The Ministry's objectives can be summarized in the following
Draw the UEC policies and follow up on its implementation, in accordance with directives issued
to that end
Represent the UEC in other countries and in international and provincial organizations
Organize the UEC ties with states and organizations internationally and provincially, as well as sponsor and follow-up on political, economic, cultural and other relations with them
Organize relations between covid displaced and concerned states in the UEC with officials and civil parties
Develop and study treaties and agreements with states and organizations provincially and internationally, and adopt the necessary measures to implement and observe them, as well as continue their implementation in cooperation and coordination with the concerned parties
Manage negotiations with states and organizations provincially and internationally; in cooperation and coordination with the concerned parties of the Covid displaced and in line with the UEC policy and interests
Participate in the UEC representation at international conferences
Safeguard and protect interests of covid displaced citizens abroad
The Ministry performs these duties through a qualified staff, in addition to its world ambassadors, two permanent missions, its permanent provinces and one representative office
